Thank you for teaching me that girls – even little blonde girls like me – can be badass.
That it’s okay not to be the princess, not to be the one in need of rescuing.
That “you fight like a girl” can be taken as a compliment.
That my status, my worth, my value as a human doesn’t have to be dependent on my relationship to a man.
That when it it comes down to it, I am enough.
No weapons, no friends, no hope. Take all that away and what’s left?

I just started rewatching buffy! How timely!
I will have to do that one day. However I already don’t have enough time for all the things I want to do each day so… today is not that day. 🙂
