How do we tackle something as huge and heartbreaking as the problem of injustice?

How do we break the moulds set by centuries of racial inequality, violence, trauma?

Usually, the place to start is not with speaking but with listening. Yesterday across social media, people posted black squares in place of their usual streams of content, in solidarity, as a commitment to pause and listen.

Here are a few of the things I heard, voices I am using my space to amplify:

Recognizing your privilege is an essential first step.
